Natural History Adventures
Northwest Connections customizes and leads family groups, business groups and individuals on wildlife watching and natural history adventures. Some examples of trips we have led include mountain lion ecology, wildflower photography, advanced outdoor skills and animal tracking.
A typical trip is 4 days. $250/day for 1-2 people; $50/day more for each additional person.
Short Field Courses
Northwest Connections hosts a variety of customized, short field courses. Historically, we have partnered with University of Montana faculty in the following programs:
College of Forestry and Conservation: Resource Conservation Field Experience and Climate Change Field Studies
Wilderness Institute's Wilderness and Civilization program
Department of Geography, Mountain Studies program
We are happy to work with you to custom design a field experience for your students highlighting our region's
